FREE FINANCIAL EDUCATION - Managing Financial Resources
Orange County United Way's Financial Education Campaign provides low-income individuals and families with effective financial literacy education courses using the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's (FDIC) Money Smart Curriculum. This partnership offers financial education county-wide, training and certifying nonprofit partners on the FDIC Money Smart curriculum and then supporting nonprofit partners to provide this resource to their clients. The FDIC Money Smart curriculum is a 10 module curriculum covering budgeting, credit, savings, consumer rights, borrowing, bank services and home ownership.
